The Photographers' Formulary: What's it all about?
Dedicated to teaching, preserving and promoting the 19th Century Alternative Processes, the Photographers' Formulary schedules week long workshops every summer. Taught by some of the best in the business, the workshops give Alt Processes novices a chance to learn, and more experienced students the opportunity to work alongside acknowledged experts
Located in the Swan River Valley of Montana, about 80 miles northeast of Missoula and 90 miles south of stunning Glacier National Parks, the workshops are in the heart of the Rockies and just outside the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area, the largest natural wilderness remaining on the North American Continent.
